Hey guys just filling you in on the awesome time we had last night!!! It was really great to see God's hand working through us all as we become more and more comfortable as a group.
So after the morning program on day 1, there were 3 of us taking the long way back to the campsite because we decided to walk up mainstreet to do a bit more advertising. This is where we found out that there was actually going to be a night market that was being held in the exact place we were supposed to be having our program! This did throw us a little, however with God's help we were able to not only have a great time with the kids, but we were also able to do a bit of advertising. All of this had obviously worked because we had a really great turn out at this mornings program (as already mentioned by bryce).
There were a lot of people down at the night market last night and although we only had a little patch of grass to work with, we still managed to turn some heads and atract a crowd. We had activities for the kids which included filling balloons with sand (stress balls) and of corse our clowns making whatever balloon animals the kids wanted, and yes this ment whatever because bryce ended up making a dinosaur! To atract the crowd, we had myself, dan and matt m jamming on flute (me), bongos (dan) and guitar (matt).
Overall it was a great night, we had a large group of kids at our patch of grass and it was great to see some of them back again this morning.

the carnival night was AWESOME!!!!
ReplyDeletei had soooo much fun and i'm glad you guys did another carnival night. it's awesome to see you guys having fun while God works through you. I know the kids have a great time because i have a great time every year. See you guys next year =)
